Tempest in a Pee Cup (July 2008, Alberta Venture) remains one of my favourite pieces. Because how often do you get to start a business/legal story with “This is a test. What would you rather do: start your workday by handing your team leader a urine sample… or get flattened by a 100-tonne truck operated by an impaired driver who didn’t pee in a cup? A or B?” and end it with “Just remember. That truck? It’s really, really big.”
