Strategy Session: A column on productivity that you will actually enjoy reading

I didn’t think I could do it.

There it was, in black and white on the editorial calendar: productivity measures. Now, there are people out there whose heart rate spikes when they start talking productivity. I am not one of them. Sorry. I was dreading writing this piece. I didn’t think anyone would want to read the result.

And then… I talked to Trevor Nakka at Deloitte. And he was pretty excited about productivity. And measures. He made them sound really, really important. I started to feel hope…

… and then, I connected with Dr. Andrew Sharpe, executive director at the Centre for the Study of Living Standards. And I was off to the races. The resulting column, well. Alberta Venture headlined it, “A column on productivity that you will actually enjoy reading.” And the kicker: “No, really.”

I think it’s a little brilliant.

Pop over the Alberta Venture’s site and give the full text and read and I dare you to tell me I’m wring:
